Wii update

The darn purdy weather has been corrupting our gaming schedule to no end. Despite this, we have managed to make it to the second level of Guitar Hero and rescue Princess Peach in Fergus’ Super Mario Galaxy. Star Wars Lego is wherever Dan left us.

Dan came over this weekend for a sleepover and we chained him to the couch until he won several levels for us:

We even made him cook his own dinner...

Oh, man, that looks like so much fun! I wish WE were there to help you get to further levels on your Star Wars game (we've conquered them all at this point, but I confess to using cheats and codes to get the characters we wanted--let me know if you need to know where to find those!). But even better would be running around outside with you, since we've had enough of being inside for a while. :)

We'll chain you to the couch in July whether you like it or not!! How's that for a promise?

We will also force feed you freezies and then make you jump on the trampoline, all right before heading down to the lake for a swim...

Ooooo Ooooo Ooooo, we are luring you!!

Rachel - to make you further jealous, we've just returned inside from a tiring game of Star Wars hide n' seek (I never ever thought I'd be running around the property with a gun... never!). Blasters vs. Light Sabres. BUT.... we need Max and Otto. Two of us are two old for this and the other two seem reluctant to do this on their own.

Wow, I want to know the rules (or should I say "the principles"?) of that game. Sounds like fun! Oh, the trampoline! I had forgotten all about the trampoline! So much fun to be had at your house!

My kids would TOTALLY be up for a game of Blasters vs. Light Sabres.

Hallelujah! Bring them on up, the sooner the better! We are in desperate need of reinforcements!

I would play. I come with a light saber or sabre, which ever way you want to spell it. But you have to pay airfare...Or I could bring the saber/sabre to the conference and we could run around the hotel by the quay (or key, whichever way you spell that).

I feel a funshop idea brewing...! How do we stage a blaster light sabre battle throughout the hotel without ticking off the staff? Mary, we'll need some guidance here. No. I've got it, a huge battle at the Monday picnic!! Oooh, what a great idea, I'll write Mary.

Would willingly pay your airfare for a battle in our back yard! Are you absolutely sure you guys can't be lured from the bright lights of Portland up to the great wide north while you're over, you'll be so close...

Dreaming of you!

We will be really close. We only have a week, though. We haven't actually made plans for where we will be. I have lunch dates pencilled in. Oh, dangit. North America is huge. I always forget that. Until I remember just how often my nipple stretched into the car seat on those long drives from Albuquerque to California to Nebraska. Cripes, it is good to get the elastic boobs. I think I've stretched them out a bit now...
