Note to anyone wanting to quicken the process in creating that stale gummy bear taste that (apparently) is all the rage with the kiddos... use the fruit leather insert when dehydrating!
should i be apologizing for hanging on to those easter eggs for so long that the gummy bears were stale? will you forgive me, please? though the updates throughout the day have been cause for mucho merriment!
Hmmmmn, being something of a gummi aficionad, I'll hafta try this. My previous favorite gummi experiment was crystal craze gummis in a glass of red wine. Delightful.
Well, that was after several days of drinking and debauchery in the Caribbean so my perspective may have been a bit skewed.
I love this! We left a gummy in a clear glass filled with water for like 2 weeks-- fascinating! It kept it's bear shape but grew and grew and GREW! See you all in @ a week!!!YAYAY

frank, when this baby has made it's arrival - i'm trying that! in moderation, of course (!) and likely sans the debauchery ... for now ...
Perhaps dehydrated in bunches, one could make something resembling stained glass. And then eat it.
