Fergus looks like he's on his way to school!
Poor misguided Mary, speaking from her own history of childhood. Ask your kids what Fergus is doing and they will say something more along the lines of what Fergus would say "Off on a 'venture', taking some of my most special worldly goods along with me". He did however pause on his way out, after reaching the serious snowfall, stood still for several seconds, and then thought better of the 'venture' and returned home till a later date when weather conditions improved!
