charting the dum dum flavours...
Luigi and his 1-Up in non-freezing/ non-raining t/t conditions. The family found the Luigi costume at Value Village and Rachel, amazingly, made me a hat... which arrived in the mail today!!!:

An outdoor Halo break
We took a stroll down to the marina today... some pre-walk pumpkin posing:
Running through the trees:
Climbing over a dam:
Swingers:
The old dilapidated bridge remains our favorite:
To the wharf:
We were mesmerized by a family of playful, cheeky river otters:
They kept getting closer and closer and eventually tried to kiss us from below (no we're not praying):
They sure gave us a show, though we imagined the boat owners don't think so kindly of them:
The family:
Ferg enjoyed impersonating the way the otters shook their butts when peeing over the edge of the wharf into the water:
Trudging home...

sushibunny
We like our sushi salads around here: all the ingredients minus the crab and seaweed (double the avocado), mixed together into a pile of yummy goodness. But, turns out some of us actually prefer it the other way...
Here's blueberry, our resident non-native bunny. He's been hanging around the house since the Spring but we only recently gave him a name because we kept expecting him to get eaten by an owl or something. We see him everyday but have never been within 10 yards of the skittish yet resilient bastard:

Your mother remembers this
We promised ourselves last year that this year we would go to the catapult (trebuchet) place up-island for our pumpkin needs - no more size-limits for us gosh dangit! From what I hear, and see, it didn't disappoint...
Kristal guaranteed a hootenanny:
Gillian informed me she took a few pics to try to be artistic like Rachel!
The pumpkin patch obviously doubles as a Dude ranch...
On the horse-drawn covered wagon...
Picking a good one...
