And the air hangs heavy like a dulling wine
After Effie got back from Hannah Montana The Movie the other night we all headed out to the Fair for some late night greasy West Coast Amusements action. What a hoot!
At 11 pm, Ferg was the only kid his age left at the Fair so the ride dude let him go around and around on this thing for a full 5 minutes. He looks positively thrilled! Check out stick boy...

Vivian saw the strawberry ride and said -- "Look! Strawberry Shortcake land! Is that in Portland? Can we go there?" :) Love your hair, Gillian -- I don't know that I've ever seen it down -- it's beautiful!
The video Craig wanted to post, but didn't out of kindness to his wife, is the one where Effie, Fergus, and I are still in the strawberry after the ride is stopped, completely oblivious, still spinning and screeching and having a gay old time, with no idea that the ride has stopped, and everyone (meaning Craig and the carnie) is quietly laughing at us! We went on like that for ages, one lone strawberry spinning and laughing!
